DC Ramban hands over cheque of compensation to land owner
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 26: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam (Competent Authority for Land Acquisition) today handed over a cheque of Rs 1.77 compensation to a land owner as compensation for the land acquired for the four-laning of NH44.
The cheque was handed over to the land owner, Aqib Ashraf Sohil in presence of ADC, Harbans Lal Sharma, ACR, Gias-ul-Haq and DDC, Councillor, Ramsu, Fayaz Ahmed Naik.
According to DC, the compensation amount has been given to him for the land acquired for NHAI four laning project under new alignment package.

It is pertinent to mention here that in total 81.6806 hect land has been acquired for NHAI for the purpose and handed over to the NHAI for the execution of work.
It was informed that about 80% of compensation amount has been disbursed to the rightful claimants and the rest is under process.
