DC launches work on 2 JJM schemes worth Rs 1.29 cr in Nowshera

Engineers asked to complete twin projects within timeline

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAJOURI, JULY 27: The construction work on two Water Supply Schemes, including WSS Lamberi Lower and WSS Dandesar of Nowshera subdivision was today kick started by the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.

The twin schemes have been approved under Jal Jeevan Mission at an estimated cost of Rs 64.69 lacs and 64.69 lacs respectively.

The DDC congratulated the locals of the area and said that the schemes would benefit a huge chunk of population in the adjoining areas by mitigating sufferings related to water shortage.

He also assured the public that all the households of the district would be provided functional tap water connection with the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Directing the officers for ensuring time-bound completion of the schemes, he asked them to closely monitor the pace of work to benefit the people.
