DC Ganderbal visits SDH hospital Kangan, found 8 doctors including MS absent

Asks doctors to explain their position

Ganderbal Dec, 12 (PTK) During a surprise inspection of DDC Ganderbal to SDH Kangan, six doctors including medical superintendent were found absent after which DDC asks them to explain their position

The doctors who were found absent include Dr. Salma Bhat, Medical Superintendent SDH Kangan, Shabir Ahmad Rather, Consultant Physician, Dr. Jibrial Ahmad Rather, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Dr. Feroz Ahmad, Consultant Surgeon,Dr. Sajaj Ashraf Kakroo, Consultant Orthopaedic and Dr. Rihana, Medical Officer.

An official said on Saturday afternoon DDC Ganderbal conducted surprise inspection of Trauma Hospital/SDH Kangan and six employees were found unauthorisidely absent from duties.

The act tantamounts to indiscipline and invites disciplinary action under J&K CSR, reads an official communique of DDC adding that therefore before taking any disciplinary action, you are directed to explain your position within two days failing which action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against you.(PTK)
