D P Pandey visits Balhama, interacts with self helf group

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- Lieutenant General D P Pandey GoC Chinar corps on Thursday visited Balhama Srinagar and interacted with a self help group there.

An official said Lieutenant General D. P. Pandey visited Balhama Srinagar where he met a self help group run by a local woman namely Surayya and appreciated their work.

He said that Surayya is the first woman of Kashmir who is making the national flag with her hands along with her group members.

CO 116 Territorial Army Colonel Jagdeep Bogal was also present over there who is supporting these kinds of initiatives to empower the youth of Kashmir especially in rural areas like Khanmoh, he said.:-PTK.
