Authorities crack whip against illegal Joinery unit owners in Bandipora

Press Trust of Kashmir | Bandipora: Forest department and forest protection force on wednesday seized 13 joinery units at various locations in north-Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official told that on receiving frequent reports over the illegally-run Joinery units across the district at various locations, several teams on the directions of Divisional Forest Officer Bandipora Shri Shabir Ahmad were constituted and subsequently deputed to the locations to ascertain the veracity of claims.
The teams constituted, according to the official, under the supervision of Range Officer Bandipora, Mushatq Ahmad who conducted raids at various locations of the district.
The teams, as per the official, sealed 13 Joinery units at different areas, adding “The machines and tools used in the illegally-run units were seized on the spot.”
Meanwhile, the official vouched that “the illegal joinery units if found anywhere in the district will meet the same fate.”:-PTK.
