Covid-19:- People must remain away from forests:- DFO Ganderbal

SRINAGAR 16 APRIL (PTK) DFO Ganderbal Owais Farooq Mir on Thursday asked people to remain away from forests as in forests hundreds of wild animals are living through which covid can transmit to humans and vice versa.

Owais said that we have been awaring people about same and requesting them to avoid visiting forests as visiting forest area is risky for human beings and animals.

He said we have making aware people aware on loudspeakers besides consulting Awqafs so that covid won’t spread from animals to human beings and vice versa.

He further requested the people living near forest area to avoid visiting forests as it can prove fatal for them.

Government will identify the routes through which gujjar and bakerwal community can bring their livestock, he said besides sought the cooperation of the community(PTL)
