Congress holds workers meeting in Veerinag
Veerinag Nov 01 (PTK). The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee today pondered over the current deteriorating security situation in valley and expressed serious concern over the unabated incident of attack on political persons.
JKPCC as part of nation-wide protest launched against anti farmer bills by the Congress party also started signature campaign thereby lodging strong protest against the Centre Govt and demanded roll back of farmers’ bills.
The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee in a meeting of Prominent party workers of Dooru Veerinag expressed serious concern over the current deteriorating security situation in valley and urged the govt to take effective measures to ensure congenial atmosphere, besides adequate security to political persons irrespective of their Party affiliations.
JKPCC President G.A. Mir presided over the meeting and flayed the Centre Govt for current situation in J&K, which has become victim of experiments and wrong policies adopted by it (Centre).Inspite of taking effective measures to address the anger an anguish of the people, the BJP Govt was bringing laws after laws by enacting different stories, which has disappointed the people in J&K and Ladakh, who feel cheated and betrayed, G.A.Mir said.
The BJP is beating the drums of development aiming to divert the attention of the people from real issues, the fact of the matter is BJP were trying hard to hide it’s failures under the garb of development, which has become a distant for the people of J&K, who are facing economic crisis due to the depressing situation post August 5 2019.
How long BJP will befool the country by spreading falsehood against the Congress Party aiming to change the narratives, Mir questioned and said Congress Party and people of the country in unison will defeat the designs of the BJP.
Congress Party has started signature campaign against the Anti Kissan Bills across the Country and will continue to fight for the people righs, who have been cheated and betrayed by the Modi Govt, G.A Mir added and said Centre Govt must focus on the development and other issues concerning people and take measures to address them, besides ensuring adequate security to political persons to ensure the safety of their lives.
Meanwhile Congress Leader and MC President Bijbehra Shaheena Needa addressed Party workers of Bijbehara and kick started signature campaign against the anti farmer bills,
Addressing the meeting Shaheena Needa urged the Party Cadres to strengthen the Congress Party further, as that, it is the Congress party alone which is capable of defeating the wrong policies of BJP and ensuring justice to people. (PTK)
