Chief of Army Staff visits Bhuj military station

New Delhi,March 19(PTK)_ General Manoj Mukund Naravane, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC, Chief of ArmyStaff visited Bhuj Military Station including Rann and Creek areas on, Monday. The Chief of Army Staff wasreceived by Lieutenant General C P Mohanty, AVSM, SM, VSM, Army Commander,Southern Command.

The Army Chief was briefed on the operational readiness andmilitary preparedness of the formations and units in location and the employmentof various new generation equipment being used by the security forces in theRann of Kutch.

He also reviewed the administrative wellbeing of all militarypersonnel and interacted with personnel of BSF and Indian Coast Guard also.General Naravane, whileinteracting with troops of Army and Border Security Forces deployed in theforward areas complimented them for their selfless dedication to duty whilesafeguarding the National Borders braving various vagaries of weather andterrain in the remote and arduous Rann and creek regions.
