CBI begins investigation into train accident in Odisha, collects report

A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officers arrived at Odisha’s Balasore, and began their investigation into the train accident which has claimed 278 lives as of now.

The Railway Board had recommended handing over the probe to the central agency on Sunday. The officials inspected the tracks, signal room and talked to railway officials at Bahanaga Bazar station in Balasore district.
