BSF Thwarts Infiltration Attempt: Seizes Arms and Cash near Punjab’s International Border

The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully intercepted and seized a significant consignment of arms and ammunition that was being smuggled by a Pakistani drone near the International Border in Punjab’s Ferozpur district.

 

Upon inspection of the confiscated packet, the BSF uncovered alarming contents, including an AK-47 assault rifle, two AK-47 magazines, and 40 live rounds (7.62 mm). Additionally, the authorities found Rs 40,000 in cash, pointing towards potential financial links to illicit activities.

 

This successful operation underscores the vigilance and efficiency of the BSF in safeguarding the nation’s borders. The interception of such a consignment highlights the persistent attempts by external elements to compromise security, necessitating continuous efforts by security forces.
