Blast near Police Post in Gool Ramban

Police registers case, investigation taken up

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR Ramban AUG 02:- A grenade blast took place near police post in Gool sub division of Ramban district after which police takes up investigation.

An official said that a blast took place following which sentry of police post fired several gunshots, however, no reports of any casualty have been reported in the incident.

Meanwhile Additional director general of police Jammu zone, Mukesh Singh on Monday said that a grenade blast took place near Ind police post in Gool area of Ramban district, even as a case has been registered and further probe was underway.

He said that a letter was also found claiming it to be done by Jammu Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF).

He added that SOG of J&K police & Army teams have launched a search operation in the area.
