Baramulla Police, GHSS Authoora Organise Cross Country Run Under Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan

Baramulla, May 19 (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir Police in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School Authoora on Monday organised a cross country run and awareness rally under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan to spread awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of building a healthy and drug-free society.

Students, teachers, police personnel and members of the local community actively participated in the programme and raised slogans promoting a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.

The initiative aimed at encouraging youth to engage in positive and constructive activities while strengthening public participation in the fight against the growing drug menace.

Police officials highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in protecting society from substance abuse and urged youngsters to stay away from narcotics and focus on education, sports and community welfare activities.

J&K Police reiterated its commitment towards community engagement and awareness generation, especially among the younger generation, for building a safer and drug-free society across the Union Territory.(PTK)
