Bandipora-Gurez to open for one way traffic tomorrow

Srinagar (PTK):- Bandipora-Gurez road will be thrown open for one way traffic from tomorrow.

“As conveyed by BRO 56 RCC Bandipora snow clearance on Gurez Bandipora road has been completed and the road has been opened for traffic” Reads the order issued by SDM Gurez.

“Accordingly it is hereby ordered that one way traffic shall be allowed from tomorrow l.e.15.03.2023 on alternate days from Bandipora to Gurez & vice versa, No vehicle shall be allowed without anti-skid chains No overloaded vehicle (Passenger/load carrier) shall be allowed to move on the said road and MVS shall not be allowed till further orders.” It reads.

The cut off timings are notified for traffic movement from Gurez will be 1300 hrs at TCP Trangbal and the cut off time from Bandipora will be 1300 hrs at TCP Kanzalwan.

“The restriction on movement shall not apply to vehicles/machinery of BRO, Mechanical Engineering Department and Ambulances, BRO 56 RCC shall keep snow clearance machine along with man power designated locations and in case of forecast of snowfall/Rainfall, the road shall be closed for all kinds of movement.” It reads further.(PTK)
