12 CRPF Personnel killed in highway Bomb Blast
SRNAGAR, (PTK): Twelve paramilitary troops were killed and at least thirteen others were injured in an IED blast along Srinagar-Jammu highway in Awantipora area of south Kashmir on Thursday..
Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Soon after the blast, the entire area was cordoned off, and gunshots between the security forces and the militants can be heard. Initially, reports claimed that 40 paramilitary troops were injured out of which 12 were critical. All the injured paramilitary troops have been rushed to the nearby hospital.
