“Awareness programmes, seminars held in Srinagar Schools”
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 05: As part of Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, several awareness programmes and seminars were held in various Schools of the Srinagar District here on Monday.
The programmes were held on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad by Chief Education Office, Srinagar at MP Higher Secondary School Baghi Dilawar Khan, Girls Higher Secretary School Gund Hassi Bhat, Boys MiddleSchool Drugjan and other City Schools.

During the programme, participants were apprised about various sections of NDPS ACT and strategies were discussed and designed to reach out to masses to make the Nasha Mukt campaign effective. Awareness on ill effects of the drugs was also given.
Pledge ceremonies were also held to uphold the promise for eradication of the drug menace in the society and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
The Students were also apprised about the harmful effects of drugs.
