Army’s 29RR Organized Finals for Swarnim Vijay Varsh Foodball Tournament at Mirgund

Press Trust of Kashmir | Pattan13 August 2021: In conjunction with 75th Independence Day and Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations, a Football competition has been organised to be played in Mirgund football Ground by Khanpeth army Camp.

A total of 08 teams are participating in the said tournament.

Today, the final match was fought between FC Dewar & FC Mirgund. FC Mirgund won the match by 2-1 and were crowned champions of Swarnim Vijay Varsha Football tournament. The match was followed by the prize distribution ceremony.

Such a running tournament helps in engaging the youth from different geographical areas and helps in motivating the youth on a large scale.(PTK).
