Army organises iftar party in wussan

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:-  Indian Army in continuation with its tradition of Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava, Wussan Battalion organised an Iftar party for officials and eminent civilians of the Battalion AOR.

An official said the event witnessed Police Officers; ASP Ganderbal, SDPO Kangan, Dy Sp & Adm Officer, PTS Manigam, Media persons, Moulvis and eminent civilians joining in for the celebrations. The event started with serving of light snacks so that practitioners could break their fast.

Followed by offering special namaz to the Almighty. The special namaz was offered under a Moulvi with practitioners following the Moulvis instructions he said.

Thereafter, the practitioners were served with the delicacies specially prepared for the occasion.

The practitioners were full of praises for the Indian Army for its belief in the concept of Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava and for organizing the event, official added.:-PTK.
