Army organises iftar party in Ganderbal 

 

SRINAGAR (PTK):- Army has organised an iftar party for general public in Gund area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

 

An official said that in continuation with Indian Army’s tradition of Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava, Gund COB, Wussan Battalion organised an *Iftar party for locals of Gund village*.

 

He said that the event started with serving of light snacks so that practitioners could break their fast. Followed by offering special namaz to the Almighty. The special namaz was offered under a Moulvi with practitioners following the Moulvis instructions. Thereafter, the practitioners were served with the delicacies specially prepared for the occasion.

 

The practitioners were full of praises for the Indian Army for its belief in the concept of Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava and for organizing the event, he said. (PTK)
