Two Soldiers Injured in Terrorist Attack in Kathua

JAMMU : In a concerning development, at least two soldiers sustained injuries after terrorists opened fire on Army vehicles in the remote Machedi area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, officials reported on Monday.

The attack occurred in Badnota village in Lohai Malhar, approximately 150 kilometres from Kathua town, during a routine patrol by Army personnel. Security forces immediately retaliated, resulting in an ongoing exchange of fire at the time of the latest reports.
