Sopore Gunfight Leads to Temporary Suspension of Classes

SOPORE :Following a recent gun battle in North Kashmir’s Sopore town, authorities have opted to temporarily suspend classwork as a precautionary measure.

All government and private educational institutions, including colleges within Sopore tehsil’s jurisdiction, will remain closed today, according to an administrative official.

This decision comes in response to an encounter that broke out on Thursday evening at Nowpora in Sopore.
