The accused have been identified as Danish Parvaiz and Abrar Ahmad Wani, both residents of Sumlar Bandipora.
According to police sources, the decision to book the individuals under the Public Safety Act (PSA) was made in response to their alleged engagement in activities deemed detrimental to national security and public order.
The Public Safety Act empowers law enforcement agencies to detain individuals suspected of posing a threat to public safety or engaging in activities that undermine the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
