Administrative Action Swiftly Taken to Rectify HR System Discrepancies Affecting 287 Employees
Srinagar, Nov 24: In response to an audit report revealing service detail irregularities within the Finance Department, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has promptly initiated corrective measures. The discrepancies, centered around the listing of dispensaries, were pinpointed on the Jammu & Kashmir Human Resource Management System (JK-HRMS) portal.
The General Administration Department swiftly addressed the audit findings, issuing an official communication to top officials. Referencing prior notifications, the communication included the audit report and a list of 287 employees with identified discrepancies in the JK-HRMS portal.
“The listed employees must instruct Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to update service details within two weeks,” stated the official communication. Launched last October by Chief Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, JK-HRMS provides a unified platform for employees, offering access to vital service-related information.
The urgency of the matter is emphasized, with a call for compliance reports to be promptly furnished. The affected employees, holding various positions, including Under Secretary, Section Officer, Accountant, Senior Assistant, and Junior Assistant, face service detail inaccuracies. Notably, over 990 government employees have had salaries withheld due to missing initial appointment orders since the initiation of JKHRMS.
These corrective measures aim to not only rectify identified discrepancies but also ensure the accuracy of employee service details on the HRMS portal. The goal is to provide a streamlined and reliable platform for comprehensive HR management in the region, addressing concerns affecting a significant number of government employees.
