Bus Collision Injures 17 Police and 3 Detainees in Ramban District

JAMMU: In a recent incident, a bus carrying seventeen police personnel and three women detainees collided with an army vehicle in Ramban district. The accident occurred on Sunday while the bus was en route from Srinagar’s central jail to Bhadrewah jail, near T2 Tunnel Marog in Ramban.

The injured, including women constables, have been promptly transferred to the district hospital in Ramban. Fortunately, all of them are reported to be in stable condition with minor injuries, as confirmed by SHO Ramban Nahiem ul Haq.

An official case has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident. Road safety remains a top priority, emphasizing the need for responsible driving and adherence to traffic rules.
