Union Home Minister Amit Shah Highlights Achievements and Stance on Key Issues

 

 

In today’s statement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah made several remarks emphasizing the
accomplishments of the BJP government and its position on various matters, as under

On responsibility for 42,000 deaths: “I would like to ask Abdullah and Mufti, who should be
held accountable for the loss of 42,000 lives? The BJP government has significantly
strengthened counter-terrorism efforts in the Valley.”

On corruption allegations against the Modi government: “The Modi government cannot be
accused of a single corruption case, while the Congress was involved in corruption amounting
to Rs 12 lakh crore.”

On the upcoming 2024 elections: “A photo session is currently taking place in Patna. The
opposition intends to challenge PM Modi and the NDA. I want to assure them that in 2024,
PM Modi will secure more than 300 seats and once again become the Prime Minister.”

On healthcare initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir: “In Jammu and Kashmir, every citizen is
being provided with free health insurance coverage worth Rs 5 lakh. Under the leadership of
PM Modi, a New Kashmir is being developed.”

On Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and his contributions: Today is the ‘Balidan Divas’ of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The entire country recognizes that it is due to his efforts that
Bengal remains an integral part of India. He vehemently opposed Article 370 in Jammu and
Kashmir and famously stated, “One country cannot have two constitutions, two Prime
Ministers, and two flags.”
