Leopard kills minor girl in Uri
SRINAGAR (PTK):- A fresh incident of man animal conflict has been reported in Baramulla District of North Kashmir.
A 10-year-old minor girl was killed in a leopard attack in Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday afternoon, officials said.
They told that a leopard attacked the girl and left her grievously injured while she was grazing cattle at Zamboor pattan Uri.
“The girl succumbed shortly after the attack”, the officials said.
The girl has been identified as Asifa Rashid (10), daughter of Rashid Bajad of Zamboor Pattan Uri.
The locals have demanded immediate capturing of the beast to avoid any further casualties.(PTK)
