Police visits Police Martyrs’ families in Ganderbal
Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar October 17: In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families of the Police Martyrs, Police in Ganderbal visited families of martyrs who had laid down their lives in the line of duty.
SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS alongwith DySP DAR Ganderbal, SHOs and Incharge PPs of district Ganderbal visited the families of martyrs across the district.

While interacting with the NOKs of Police martyrs, visiting officers listened their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine problems will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. Visiting officers emphasised on them to consider police department as a family and share their problems especially in case of exigencies. While expressing their gratitude, the officers added that J&K police will always remain indebted to these martyrs who helped a great deal in creating the atmosphere of peace & tranquillity in J&K.
SSP Ganderbal while interacting with NOKs of martyrs said that the blood of their martyred sons shall not go in vain, as they have sacrificed themselves for the nation’s peace, stability, integrity and safeguarding common people.
Family members of martyrs expressed gratitude and happiness to the Police department for showing empathetic gesture towards them.
