PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 29:- Two missing girls central Kashmir’s Budgam district have been recovered from Jammu.
A police said that on 26 September PS Humhama received a written complaint from one Mst. Shameema resident of Handwara presently Humhama stating therein that her 02 minor daughters aged 15 years and 16 years presently residing in a rented house at Humhama went missing since 25-09-2022.
Upon this information, a case FIR number 337/2022 under relevant Sections of Law was registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation was set into motion, he said.

A special Police team was constituted under the supervision of Chowki Officer Humhama Insp Imtayaz Ahmad to trace out the 02 minor missing girls, he added.
Police team, acting swiftly raided various locations and after strenuous efforts and working on various leads, Police team traced out both the missing minor girls from Bus Stand Jammu yesterday evening and were brought safely to Budgam by Women Police and family members, he added.
After fulfilling all legal formalities, the minor girls were handed over to their parents, he said, adding that further investigation into the case is going on.
