DC Jammu inaugurates placement drive for unemployed youth
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 28: District Administration Jammu today conducted Placement Drive at Saraswati Agrotech SIDCO, Bari Brahmana Jammu in collaboration with District Employment and Counselling Centre and District Industries Centre.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa inaugurated the placement drive and also interacted with the participants.
The job seekers who participated in the placement drive were registered during the Jammu Employment Festival conducted across the district by District Administration Jammu.

In addition to that, the unemployed youth registered with District Employment and Counselling Centre Jammu also participated in the placement drive wherein the industry interviewed the ITI trained candidates and those possessing MSc Degree in Chemistry and science graduates.
The placement drive was held in continuation to the Employment Festival organised by District Administration Jammu through District Employment & Counselling Centre earlier, during which awareness camps regarding Self Employment schemes and skill up-gradation courses were held in all the Blocks of the district. During the camps the scores of youth were registered and counselled about the self-employment schemes of different government departments.
