Amarnath Yatra resumes from Baltal after four days

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:  Amarnath Yatra resumed on Tuesday from Baltal side in Ganderbal district after remaining suspended for four days.

Dc Ganderbal said that Amarnath Yatra resumed as fresh batch of yatris was allowed to proceed towards the holy cave from Baltal Base Camp today morning.

He said that more than 7000 yatris left Dumail towards the holy cave early morning.

It is pertinent to mention here that yatra was suspended due to cloudburst incident in which at least 16 persons died.:-PTK.
