Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- Three Pakistani LeT militants were killed in a gunfight that broke out between militants and security forces in Jumagund village of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thrusday.

An official said that three Pakistani militants have been killed and arms and ammunition was recovered from their possession.

IGP kashmir Vijay Kumar said that three militants killed in Kupwara are Pakistani affiliated with LeT.

He said that this year so far 26 foreign militants have been killed including 14 from JeM and 12 from LeT.

“From the incriminating materials recovered, the 3 killed militants have been identified as Pakistani, affiliated with terror outfit LeT. So far, 26 foreign militants(14 JeM & 12 LeT) have been neutralised this year” Tweeted Kashmir Zone police while quoting IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar

Notably, three Pakistani militants and a policeman was killed in a chance encounter in Baramulla district a day before.:-PTK.
