Two houses damaged, firefighter injured in Anantnag blaze
Anantnag May 04 (PTK) Two houses suffered substantial damage while as a fire fighter was injured in a fire incident in Malaknag area of Anantnag on Wednesday.
Reports said that fire broke out from one residential house and in no time it started spreading to other houses.
They said that fire tenders, locals and police rushed to the spot and started dousing of fire and in the incident one firefighter received injuries.
An official identified the injured Constable as Adil Nisar Khan, resident of Jammu posted at Headquarters Sarnal Anantnag who was shifted to GMC Anantnag from where he was referred to SKIMS Soura.
In the incident two houses belonging to Masood Ahmad Sheikh son of Abdul Rahman Sheikh and Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh son of Abdul Samad Sheikh suffered substantial damage.
The cause of fire is said to be short circuit and further investigation has been taken up. (PTK)
