05 gamblers arrested in Bandipora
Press Trust of Kashmir | Bandipora : Bandipora Police continuing its war against the social crimes, arrested 05 Gamblers in Hakbara Hajin.
An official said that acting on a specific information about the presence of Gamblers, a police party of Police Station Hajin led by SHO P/S Hajin Insp. Zahoor Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Hajin Shri Lateef Khan-JKPS raided a gambling site at village Hakbara Hajin and arrested 05 Gamblers.
He identified the gamblers as as Bilal Ahmad Fafoo,R/o Hakbara, Nazir Ahmad Baba R/o Hajin, Fayaz Ahmad Wani R/o Hajin, Waseem Ahmad Langoo
R/o Kusumbagh Hakbar and Showkat Ahmad Mir R/o Kusumbagh Hakbara Hajin.
He said that stake money of Rs- 5600 and play cards have been seized on spot from their possession.
He added that in this regard, case FIR No. 11/2022 under relevant sections stands registered in Police Station Hajin and further investigation has been taken up.:-PTK.
