Apple boxes gutted in Shopian fire blaze

Srinagar, 05 Nov (PTK) : An apple store was demaged in a fire incident which entrapped around 650 apple boxes worth lakhs of rupees in Ganowpora village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on friday .

Reports reaching press trust of Kashmir (PTK) that mysterious fire was broke out in a apple packing shed, belongs to Abdul Razak resident of Ganowpora Balapora in which at least 4700 apple peti’s were stored for packing .

After noticing the flames, locals and fire tenders reached to the spot and doused the flames but couldn’t save the property.

Local sources told news agency – Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that around 650 packed apple peti’s were gutted in the fire blaze.

Meanwhile Local residents appeals to district administration to provide some compensation to the family so that they too would be able to live normally. (PTK)
