Readymade, Kiryana Shop Gutted in lolab fire blaze

Kupwara, 24 Oct (PTK): A Readymade and a Kiryana shop were gutted in a fire blaze during the intervening night of Saturday-sunday in Diver Lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district

Locals sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir that a readymade and a Kiryana shop were gutted at Diver lolab, resulting in clothes worth lakhs of rupees being gutted in the fire.

Thick black smoke began to emanate from the garment shop and within seconds Kiryana shop were engulfed in fire. Efforts by the shop owner and the local public to douse the fire proved futile.

Meanwhile, Fire and emergency services rushed to the spot managed to extinguish the fire and prevented it from spreading further.

In the fire mishap, shops belonging to Waseem Ahmad Khan son of Mohammad Saleem a resident of Diver lolab were reduced to ashes.(PTK)
