Press trust of Kashmir | Ganderbal : Mamer Premier League ( MPL ) organised by youth of mammer with coliberation Army of 34 Assam rifles mammer has ended with peace on Wednesday

An official said that youth of mammer with coliberation E Coy of 34 Assam Rifles of mammer organised MPL ( Mamer Premium League ) in which 16 teams from different villages participated with full enthusiasm.

Final match was played between Mamer XI and Shining Star Akhal on 09 Jun 2021 and after a thrilling game of cricket Mamer XI emerged as winners of the MPL ( Mamer Primier League ).

Officials of the army on the occasion said that Sports acts as a great bridge in building good relations between Awaam and Security Forces.

They said thar these events also help in channelizing the energy of youth towards more positive things and keeping them away from drugs and other negative ideologies.

– Winning team and runners up were given trophies and cash prizes. The event was appreciated by the locals with overwhelming response.

People especially youth of the area have appreciated such steps of army and hoped that such events will be conducted in future too
