Major Decision By J&K Administration On Increasing Covid Cases
Jammu April 05 (PTK) In view of rising Covid cases in J&K, the J&K Administration held a meeting in which DC Jammu, Mission Director NHA, GMC Principal, Family Welfare and MCH Director-General, Director NHM, Additional Director and all the Nodal Officers were present.
Along with them State Surveillance and Medical Surveillance officers were also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the administration has emphasized Covid testing. As per the reports, a person coming from outside into J&K will not be allowed to enter the UT until and unless he undergoes a Covid test.
The decision has been brought into action at all Railway Stations, Airports and Lakhanpur Border. There is news that at the Lakhanpur border people are providing their fake verifications and mobile numbers. After the news went viral DC Kathua has been asked to take strict actions in the matter.
The second point the administration has emphasized in the meeting is Contact Tracking and the third point is vaccination.
Also, the Police officers have been directed to take strict actions against the people who are found without a mask in public places or the people who don’t ensure social distancing.
The administration has asked the people that if they have tested positive then they should go for home isolation and if they still didn’t feel well then they can get themselves admitted into the hospitals. (PTK)
