Conductor dead, driver injured in Zojila road accident.

Ganderbal Oct 22 (PTK) Conductur died while another critically injured in a road accident near Bajri Nallah Zojila pass in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.

Sources said that a truck bearing registration number JK03B/4773 was on its way to Srinagar from Laddakh when suddenly it skidded off the road and fell into 400-ft deep gorge near Bajri Nallah at Zojila pass.

He added that a conductor of the truck died on spot while with the joint efforts of police, locals driver was rescued and was taken to nearby hospital where doctors reffered him Srinagar medical institute for advanced treatment.

He added that case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is going on.(PTK)
