Police station, police post closed for public visit as official test positive

Jammu September 05 (TK) Police authorities in Jammu district have ordered closure of a police station and a police post for public visit as many officials of both the police institutions got tested positive for Corona virus on Friday.

” 6 policemen from Police Station Akhnoor including Station House Officer and Moharer Head Constable (MHC) have been tested positive for COVID19.” said an officer.

He further informed that three policemen from Police Post Pallanwala and 2 policemen from Police Post Jourian have also been found COVID19 positive.Sub Divisional Police Officer Akhnoor Ajay Sharma said that Police Station Akhnoor and Police Post Pallanwala have been closed till further orders.(PTK)
