CRPF man among four deaths reported in J&K, toll reaches 186

Srinagar, Jul 13 (PTK): A CRPF personnel is among four patients who died and were tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday, taking the toll of total deaths in J&K to 186.

Dr Nazir Choudhary, Medical Superintendent at SMHS said that a 55 year old CRPF man of 174 Battalion Kulgam who was admitted on Sunday and was tested positive after his death on Monday.

He was suffering from bilateral pneumonia.

Dr G H Yatoo, Nodal officer for Covid-19 at SKIMS said that a 46 year old male from Sopore who was admitted on July 07 died at SKIMS on Monday morning at 5:45 am.

He said that the patient was suffering from multiple myeloma.

Dr Salim Tak, Medical Superintendent at CD hospital said that a 65 year old man from Rawalpora Srinagar who had come for Covid-19 sampling, however, he died while his sample was taken and he was tested positive after his death.

He said that a 55 year lady from Pulwama who was admitted on 05 July died at CD hospital on Monday afternoon.

With four more deaths, the death toll related to Covid-19 has reached to 186 in J&K including 169 from Kashmir division and 17 from Jammu division. (PTK)
