United Jammu Kashmir Foundation NGO urges administration to help victims of Domestic violence.

Srinagar, 05-06-2020(PTK) United Jammu Jammu Kashmir Foundation NGO headed by Mohammad Momin Khan Turk has requested the administration and Police to help the victims of Domestic violence.
While talking to Chairman of UJKF he expressed deep concern over sudden surge in Domestic violence cases in kashmir and said that soon after COVID19 lockdown there has been some sudden increase in these cases and victims are feeling helpless as no help is being provided to them by police and administration. The situation is worrisome and a blot on our society as how our sisters and daughter are becoming slaves of someone.

He, said that UJKF has a first priority of helping these victims, we tried to contact with police and administration but unfortunately no respond was given to us from them.

He further said that his team is getting phone calls on daily basis regarding domestic violence cases but without the help of administration, we can’t do anything on our own.

He has requested administration, police and concerned officials to consider the matters of Domestic violence as an important issue and help the victims.
