Health employees working under HDF seek regularization

Bandipora, 16(PTK)June:Employees engaged under Hospital Development Fund (HDF) in district hospital Bandipora are uncertain about their future due to failure of the health department to regularize their services.

These employees told that they are working in the Bandipora hospital from last more than 08 years and continue to look forward to regularization of their services.

They said they were engaged under Hospital Development Fund by the authorities and “are backbone of the health sector”.

Reyaz Ahmad an employee of HDF working as driver presently posted with Rapid Response Team said that he is driving the ambulance continuously since first case was detected in Bandipora and from very first that day he has not visited his home.”

He said the employees work on meager amount of salary and some of them were without the salaries from past 2 to 3 years.

Seeking regularization, he said that his family is facing a lot of problems.

He added that government should regularize them according to new regularization policy.

He further said that he is working on Rs 2500 which he said is very little as compared to the work he is doing.

“I have five family members and I am not able to meet their expenses. We appeal the government to take the issue seriously and solve our case,” he said.

HDF employees of Bandipora appealed the Lt.Governor and Director Health Service Kashmir to look into the matter on priority basis.(PTK)
