Teli Mohalla Khanpora in Baramulla turns into dumping site, authorities in slumber

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK) Teli Mohalla Khanpoora area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district is rapidly turning into garbage dumping site as the concerned authorities have failed to remove the garbage that could be seen piled up there.

Witnesses said that the area is rapidly turning into garbage dumping site, thus posing a grave threat to nearby residents amid the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.

They said heaps of garbage are lying scattered there due to which there remains an apprehension that it can become source of communicable diseases.(KNO)

Locals requested authorities to look into the matter and take immediate steps to clean the area so that locals can heave a sigh of relief
