Covid-19:- 20 more tested positive in J&K, toll reaches 427
SRINAGAR 23 APRIL (PTK) 20 more persons were tested positive for covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory on Thursday taking toll of total positive cases to 427
Government spokesman Rohit Kansal in a tweet said that more 20 persons have tested positive in J&K, among them one division.
He further added that among 407 cases, 370 are from Kashmir division and 57 are from Jammu division
“20 new cases reported today. 01 from Jammu Division and 19 from Kashmir. Total now 427. Jammu-57 and Kashmir-370,” Kansal Tweeted.
Officials said among new 19 cases in Kashmir division, nine are from shopian, four from Kupwara, three Fromm Baramulla, two from Bandipora and one from Budgam district while as in Jammu division reported case is from Ramban.
Officials from Kupwara said that new positive four cases are contacts of already positive patients and 84 samples were tested negative in district today.
They further added that total number of positive cases in district are now 41 with 6 recoveries.(PTK)
