Only BJP can do justice with nationalist people of Ladakh

LEH: BJP leader and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju hits out at successive Congress Governments at the Centre and the State for deliberately discriminating against the Ladakh region.
Addressing the election rallies at Diskit in Nobra Valley and Zansker Valley, Rijiju said that only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can do justice to nationalist people of Ladakh region.
Flanked by BJP State President Ravinder Raina, BJP’s MP Candidate Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and former Minister and MLC Tsering Dorje, Rijiju said it is the Modi led BJP Government, which had, for the first time, addressed the long pending demands of people of Leh, Nobra, Kargil and Zanskar which had been deliberately ignored by Congress and its allies because of their Kashmir-centric priorities.
He said, the people of Ladakh have realized that only a BJP-led Government can do the justice with them.
He further said the demand for granting an exclusive Division status to the Ladakh region was conceded by the Modi Government during the Governor’s rule and the demand for the UT status for Ladakh would also be followed up in the same spirit. He also highlighted that the demand to include the “Bhoti” language in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution had been taken up with his Ministry, Home department, before the election process began and assured that it will be followed up after the elections are over.
Rijiju said that there is a strong wave in favour of BJP in whole Ladakh region and people love to see Prime Minister Modi to re-sworn as the Prime Minister and hoped that BJP will sweep the MP seat in Ladakh with huge margin.
