Hilal Ahmad Shah calls on Chief Secretary

He also a submitted a detailed resolution to Chief Secretary in which Shah has sought speedy action from the Govt.
Shah held, threadbare, discussions with the BVR Subramanyam on the overall development and sought resolution of the problem confronting general public in Anantnag and elsewhere in the valley.
Expressing serious concern over the non-resolution of the issues, Hilal Ahmad Shah emphasized Chief Secretary to look into matter and ensure that the issues brought to his notice through the Resolution that was submitted by him (Shah) to Chief Secretary are addressed on fast track basis, for the fact, people have expectations from them.
On this occasion Hilal Ahmad Shah also apprised the CS of the meeting of Chairmen/Presidents of Municipal Committees/Councils of Kashmir valley held under his chairmanship very recently in Srinagar in which they passed a resolution demanding release of funds for development of their wards.
Among other demands that were submitted to CS included:
- Construction of Mini Secretariat Anantnag @ cost of Rs 34 Crores
- Widening of Road from Janglat Mandi Donipawa @ cost Rs. 35 Crores
- Compensation amount for dismantling structure at Khanabal Point upto Chowk Anantag upto Ahili Hadees Masjid @ cost of Rs 5.5 Crores
- Circular Road for Aantnag from Donipawa to Batingoo via Sarnal with 2 Km tunnel
- Widening of road from Lal Chowk to Sherbagh
- JAKFED having 30 Kanals of land at Momin Abad Anantnag should be transferred to Custodian for construction of Marriage Hall
- Construction of New Slaughter House at Anannag
- Vehicles, tools, plants and disinfectant items and additional sweepers for MC Anantnag
- Solid Waste management treatment plan for Anantnag Town
- Construction of Drainage network on both sides of Sherbagh stream from Sherbagh to Mehandi Kadal @ cost of Rs.5.00 Crores
- Street Lights, Dust Bins, litter bins stainless steel, litter bins for MC Anantnag
- Construction of Marriage Hall at Kadipor @ cost 3.18 Crore
- Construction of 25 Parks in each ward in Anantnag, drains, lanes water supply schemes, macdamization of roads of Anantnag town.
The Chief Secretary while giving patient hearing to Hilal Ahmad Shah assured him that the demands projected by him would be fulfilled and action would be initiated, at an earliest.
He also hailed Hilal Ahmad Shah for his concern and serious with regard to overall development of Anantnag.
