Anantnag village lacks basic medical facilities

SRINAGAR, DEC 12 (PTK): Despite the directives for an improved public health sector in rural areas of the Valley Primary Health Centres in district Anantnag village of Kehripora are in shambles.
The residents of Kehripora village complained that Primary Health Centre (PHC) located in their village lacks staff and basic facilities as they are being forced to visit other places for medical treatment.
Locals here alleged that “the PHC was established in 2008, the authorities had promised us that all kind of medical facility will be made available here as the Health Centre caters to a vast area. But Unfortunately The building Turned into bad condition resulting inhabitants of the area suffered. In this regard.
When we contacted BMO Larnoo Speaking to News agency Press Trust of Kashmir that the Allopathic Dispensary now NTPHC is working in a Private Accommodation since long. The Pvt. accommodation is not sufficient. The Government Building is under construction at slab level.
He added “we take Efforts to resolve it as Soon as Possible”. (PTK)
