DC Kulgam visits Tehsil Office to oversee reading of latest Digitized Jamabandi

KULGAM, JUNE 15 (PTK): Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, today visited Tehsil Office Kulgam to oversee the process of reading of the latest digitized Jamabandi prepared after digitization and incorporation of mutations.

The Jamabandi reading was conducted in the presence of members of the public, who had been duly informed about the exercise.

Officials informed that the latest digitized Jamabandi has been made available on the JK Zameen Sudhar Portal, enabling every estate holder to access and verify their land-related records online.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that the public can verify their land records through the portal and identify any discrepancies or corrections that may be required.

It was further informed that non-quasi-judicial errors can be rectified at the level of the concerned Tehsildar to ensure accuracy and transparency in revenue records.

Additionally, schedules have been prepared under which the Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) are personally overseeing the process of digitized Jamabandi reading across the district to facilitate public participation and timely redressal of issues.(PTK)
