Director Finance SKUAST-K Reviews Institutional Functioning at KVK Bandipora-1
Bandipora, May 15 (PTK): Director Finance and Comptroller of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Kashmir, Haroon Ahmad Bhat on Thursday visited KVK Bandipora-1 to review the functioning and developmental activities of the institution.
During the visit, Dr. Tariq Sultan briefed the Director Finance about ongoing activities, institutional achievements, infrastructural facilities and future development plans of the Kendra.
Haroon Ahmad Bhat inspected various sections of the institution and reviewed its overall functioning. He appreciated the efforts of the KVK administration and scientific staff in effectively implementing university programmes and extension activities at the district level.
Officials including Dr. Tahir Saleem also apprised the Director Finance about various technical and administrative initiatives being undertaken by the institution.
Discussions during the visit focused on strengthening institutional infrastructure, improving administrative coordination and enhancing the operational efficiency of the centre.
The Director Finance emphasized the importance of institutional accountability, effective resource management and coordinated efforts for the continued growth and development of KVK Bandipora-1. He reiterated the commitment of SKUAST-K towards strengthening its outreach and extension institutions across the region.
He also stressed maintaining high standards of institutional performance, timely execution of developmental activities and optimum utilisation of available resources to achieve the objectives of the university.
The visiting officers held detailed deliberations regarding future strategies for institutional strengthening, infrastructural improvement and enhanced coordination among different units of the university for effective implementation of academic and extension programmes.
The visit concluded with a review meeting where various administrative and developmental matters concerning the functioning of KVK Bandipora-1 were discussed in detail.(PTK)
