3733 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 187219, Death toll rises 2421 with fifty one new deaths

Srinagar, May 03 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 3733 fresh positive cases of COVID, and fifty one new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 187219

These cases include 1294 from Jammu division and 2439 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports sixteen new deaths, while Jammu division reports thirty five new deaths, taking the death toll to 2421 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1136 cases were reported from Srinagar, 232 from Baramulla, 208 from Budgam, 296 from Pulwama, 64 from Kupwara, 145 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 85, Ganderbal 51, Kulgam 167, Shopian 55, Jammu 584, Udhampur 86, Rajouri 111, Doda 12, Kathua 112, Samba 209, Kishtwar 09, Poonch 30, Ramban 44 and Reasi 98.

Moreover, they said, 1536 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 626 from Jammu division and 910 from Kashmir division.

They further said, out of 51 deaths, 24 died in GMC Jammu, 02 in MCH Wing GMC Jammu (Government GN Hospital),02 in GMC Rajouri, 01 in GMC Doda, 01 in CD Hospital Jammu, 01 in GMGS Jammu, 01 in DH Ramban, 01 in DH Poonch, 03 Home (Brought Dead), 01 in CD Hospital Srinagar, 06 in SKIMS Soura, 05 in SMHS, 01 in CHC Kupwara, 01 in DH Kulgama and 01 in SDH Sopore.—(PTK).
