3 CRPF men injured in Lawaypora attack

Srinagar Mar 25 (PTK) :Three security personnels have been critically injured as suspected Militants on Thursday afternoon opened fire on Government Forces in the Lawaypora area of Srinagar.

An official said that militants opened fire in a patrol of Central Reserve Police Force personnel deployed on the Srinagar- Baramulla highway near Lawapora.

He said that three CRPF men have been injured in the attack and Militants managed to escape from the spot.

He said that more reinforcement has been rushed to the spot and area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (PTK)
